I trained as a counsellor over 15 years ago firstly working in Adult Mental Health with individuals and Group Work at Mind. Later joined Relate together with additional training to deliver Couples and Systemic Family therapy. I have also studied a Post Graduate course at Kings College, London to work with Young People in CYP-IAPT services.

For the last 5 years I have been a Lead Clinical Supervisor and Safeguarding Lead supervising the work of team of counsellors spread across the country. I also have a private practice for clients and supervisees, both self-funded or covered by Medical Insurance Companies.

My approach as a supervisor is to support, without judgement whilst still being realistic. Working and practicing in law can be a tough place both physically and mentally/emotionally, which will impact many aspects of someone’s life. By offering a regular reflective space to unpack I hope to enable any law practitioner to keep a healthy and clear mind throughout their life and work environment.

Completing the training and joining the Supervision for Family Lawyers team brings together the love I have for my previous career working in the corporate banking sector for 20 years and my passion for supporting others when I retrained as a counsellor.

I am based in Hertfordshire and can travel to Greater London or East Anglia for face to face consultations or happy to work remotely via Zoom or Teams.
