I have been a family lawyer for over 20 years, in boutique and large London firms, a large regional firm and as a family policy advisor at the Ministry of Justice. I am now self employed and enjoying that challenge and opportunity, combined with balancing work-life as a working parent.
Professional and personal experience has taught me how crucial it is to support supporters. You can give your best support to others if you have proactive and sustained support yourself. Supervision provides this with a safe, supportive and confidential space in which to reflect on and work through any aspect of life that may be impacting on your work. This could be anything from pressure or volume of work, vicarious trauma from difficult cases and clients, workplace politics, concerns about career progression to issues at home.
I am based in Tunbridge Wells and can travel in Kent, Surrey and Sussex and to London for face to face supervision. Wherever you are, I offer remote digital supervision on Teams or Zoom or over the telephone. A first conversation is always free so do get in touch.
